Gourmet Curry Popcorn Recipe
Cooking Ingredients:
- 1 cup popcorn kernels
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon fresh, grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation Method:
- Pop the kernels in a hot-air popcorn popper and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt the butter and add the curry, cumin, ginger and cardamom.
- Sauté the spices until fragrant, add the sugar and cayenne pepper, remove from heat.
- Drizzle the spicy butter over the popcorn and mix well to coat.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
